Sensei Ron Cyphers

Ron was introduced to karate in 1960 while serving in the military. During the next several years he trained in several karate styles including wado-ryu, Okinawan kempo, aikido and taekwondo. After a ten year absence from karate training, Ron discovered Matsubayashi-ryu Shorin-ryu and realized that this style of karate was what he had been searching for through the years and he began his training under Hanshi Jeff Liestner. His favorite katas are Godan, Ananku and Passai. Ron currently holds the rank of Go Dan and is a certified instructor in the WSKF.
