Sensei Lori McPeek
Sensei Lori McPeek began her karate training in Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate under Hanshi Frank Grant at his school on Troy Street in Dayton, Ohio when she was fifteen years old. Lori started training in karate for a variety of reasons including self-defense and physical fitness. Lori earned her black belt in 1976. She took a break in her training after her second child was born, but karate was always a love of hers. Lori and her husband Jack have four children. After the children were older, Lori started training again in 2010. She was promoted to Go Dan at the 2016 WSKF Internationals in Florida. Lori currently assists in teaching classes for adults and children at the Martial Arts and Family Fitness Center in Hilliard, Ohio. Lori's favorite kata is Passai.
